They have interviewed so many interesting guests from all walks of life - many of whom have been “cancelled” and are able to offer thoughtful perspectives not always found in the mainstream narrative. Given how grim or serious some of the topics can be, it is just as well that they have a (warped) sense of humour to lighten the mood once in a while. He is often categorised as a conservative / libertarian thinker, although his analysis refreshingly transcends political lines.

“UnHerd aims to do two things: to push back against the herd mentality with new and bold thinking, and to provide a platform for otherwise unheard ideas, people and places.” They have a fantastic YouTube channel covering a range of topics, including various interviews on all aspects of Covid-19.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Somali activist, author, scholar and former politicianAyaan embodies the intellect, nuance, courage, compassion and common sense that is desperately needed in the current landscape of tribal politics. I am a huge fan. She hosts a podcast with fascinating guests, deemed “a home for critical thinking”. Ayaan emigrated to the Netherlands from war-torn Somalia, and became an MP in her adoptive country.
